Another Way of Thinking About Health

Western concepts of health are quite unilateral - restricted to 'disease causation' by 'germs' (or other nomenclature) - with a subsequent 'description of symptoms' - and followed by a 'course of prescriptive drugs.' This philosophy is 'medical' and is underwritten by 'Big Pharma' - the legal drug pusher in our 'very sick' society. Two hundred and fifty years ago, in Eastern Europe, a philosophy of health was propounded which stated that health is the natural state of the organism - as it is with every other animal in nature.
